Rights and usage
ASLGames Licensing
Choose the right ASLgames.ca license for personal practice, classroom teaching, school programs, paid products, or future reviewed ASL motion resources. Each license is meant to keep the artwork useful, clear, and respectful.
Personal Font License
For learners, parents, and hobby creators making non-commercial ASL practice materials for themselves or their family.
- Create personal worksheets, labels, flashcards, notebook pages, and family learning printouts.
- Use the font artwork in free personal PDFs or printed pages you do not sell.
- Not for paid downloads, merch, client work, apps, business branding, or resale.
Teacher and Classroom
For teachers, tutors, and homeschool leaders who want classroom-ready ASL alphabet artwork in materials for their own learners.
- Create handouts, slides, review sheets, labels, posters, and classroom activities.
- Use during tutoring, homeschool lessons, small groups, and school practice sessions.
- Not for selling a resource pack, publishing commercial books, or distributing editable font files.
School or Organization
For schools, programs, clinics, organizations, and districts that need permission for more than one teacher or location.
- Good for shared classrooms, resource teams, after-school programs, and organization-wide materials.
- Can cover multiple staff members after scope and use are reviewed.
- Manual approval keeps pricing fair and makes sure the license matches the real use.
Commercial Products
For creators, publishers, app builders, brands, and businesses using ASLgames artwork in products or public commercial materials.
- Required for paid worksheets, books, apps, printable packs, merchandise, ads, client work, or business content.
- Usage is reviewed by product type, audience size, distribution, and whether files are editable.
- Approval gives clients confidence that the artwork is licensed before launch.
ASL Motion and Avatar Clips
Future motion licenses will only use reviewed, approved, accurate sign clips from approved Thomas source videos.
- Built for future avatar animation, app lessons, and licensed sign motion libraries.
- Accuracy review comes before any clip is released or licensed.
- No unclear third-party videos should be used as source material.
Print-on-Demand Products
For future physical posters, flashcards, classroom bundles, stickers, and teaching visuals shipped through a print partner.
- Digital products are live first so buyers can receive resources immediately by email.
- Physical products need print specs, proof approval, vendor setup, and fulfillment tracking before launch.
- Schools and teachers can request bundles while print-on-demand is prepared.
