Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

ASL Games provides educational ASL practice videos, games, printable resources, font samples, and learning pages. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use ASLgames.ca.

Information We May Process

When you browse the site, normal technical information may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, and advertising services. This can include device type, browser type, pages visited, approximate region, referral source, and basic interaction data.

If you create an account, Firebase Authentication may process your email address, account ID, display name, sign-in status, and subscription-related access status so the site can save progress, support leaderboards, and manage free or paid access.

Public Leaderboards

Leaderboards are designed to show a public display name chosen by the user, not an email address. If no safe public name exists, the site displays a generic name such as ASL Player. Scores and points may be saved locally on your device and, when enabled, in a cloud leaderboard.

Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies

ASL Games uses Google Analytics to understand which pages and activities are useful. Learning analytics are designed around broad events such as page category, activity type, practice video number, general video progress, buttons clicked, and approximate time spent. ASL Games does not intentionally send names, email addresses, account IDs, referral codes, form text, or precise location through analytics events.

The site may use Google AdSense to show ads to free users. Google and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads according to user settings and applicable policies.

Free access may include ads between learning activities. Paid recurring supporters are intended to receive an ad-free experience where membership status can be verified.

Payments and Digital Products

Purchases, subscriptions, and digital product checkout links may be handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and security practices. ASL Games may receive purchase confirmation information such as product purchased, customer email, amount, and payment status so digital resources can be delivered and support can be provided.

Camera-Based Practice

Camera activities ask for browser camera permission only when you choose to use that feature. Camera access is controlled by your browser and device. ASL Games should not be used for medical, legal, or high-stakes assessment. Camera practice is a learning tool for feedback and confidence.

Free Native Store Editions

The free iOS and Android game editions are guest-play apps. They do not include advertising, analytics, tracking, website account creation, cloud leaderboards, or external purchase links. Game scores and progress are stored on the device. Camera editions ask for camera access only after you choose to start camera practice; camera frames are processed on the device and are not uploaded by the store edition.

Removing the app or clearing its storage removes local game data. Website account deletion is available through the account and data deletion page.

Email and Contact

If you contact ASL Games or create an account, your email may be used for support, account notices, product delivery, or educational updates when permitted. You can request help with account, privacy, or accessibility questions by emailing artekaarteka@outlook.com.

Your Choices

You can control cookies, ad personalization, notifications, and camera permissions through your browser and device settings. You can sign out of your account at any time. You can request correction or deletion of account-related information by contacting ASL Games.
